We will provide you with an appropriate pair of contact lenses and give you the time to get used to them as part of your everyday routine.

Before you visit

Before we can advise you on the best contact lenses for you, you will need:

An up to date prescription – this means issued within the last 12 months! If you had your eye test with us within that time frame, we will already have your prescription on record. Otherwise, please bring a copy of your prescription with you.
A sight test – if you don’t have the above prescription, we can provide you with a sight test as part of your appointment. Just let us know when you book!
Your current sight correction, whether that’s glasses or contact lenses.

The Journey

The optometrist will spend time talking to you about your lifestyle and vision requirements before discussing options on suitable contact lenses for you.
You will be offered the chance to take some sample lenses away and get used to them outside of the practice environment. You can wear and care for the lenses in your normal environment, getting used to how they feel and whether they fit with your lifestyle.
Then you simply let us know how you are getting on! You can choose to proceed with the lenses you have tried or have a second consultation and discuss further options. We want you to be happy with whatever you choose, so we will never dedicate less time to you than you need.
